I am so very proud of my little bobble head Aiden!!!!

He had a very rough start in his agility career. He had 5 major scary things happen to him when we first started one of them being 2 Aussies thought he was a lure coursing bunny and chased him out to the parking lot where he had to hide under a car for safety. I thought he may never do agility due to his early trauma’s.

Then we have the BHS/ADD issues 🙂  I really thought that if I got a startline by the time he turned 10 I would be happy.

I am happy that Aiden seems to enjoy the game and is happy and confident where we train. I am getting the start of a start line with the 1,2,3 game.

I entered him in one class and did not ask him to do a startline. He looked happy and ran very well. We are still in puppy class and we don’t have a full grasp of lefts, rights or front or rear crosses yet…. and he has never run on anything but grass. So this was great!!!! He will never be Masher fast but that’s Ok cuz I will never be Daneen fast:)

Out of the one tunnel I was late in calling him and he said “Oh look a tunnel…. I bet that where I am supposed to go!!!” Pretty cute Doody!!!!

I have not trained Cole in over 2 1/2 years and I entered him in a trial!!!!! Cole is such a GREAT dog!!! He looked soooo cute!!!! We got a Starters Snooker leg, he did a perfect run in his Starters Pairs run and dropped a bar in his Starters jumpers run. And I have to add he had 3 perfect start lines!!!!!

Poor Cole…. He didn’t know what I wanted when I lead out in the jumpers run….not his fault. We have never run a full course in training ( 2 1/2 years ago) so in his jumpers run he gave me the look of ” Mama, there’s alot of jumps”.

Diana and I showed the four pups and Cole and Tirzah in Ventura CA. It was Africa hot!!!

All the pups showed great and placed. Ty was WD and Best in Futurity!!

Giddeon was such a good girl! She showed very well and was fun to show. I just love her style, movement, outline and temperament!!! We didn’t do anything but that’s ok…. I am happy that she comes home with me!!!

While I was in Nevada, Diana took Tirzah and the pups to the Claremont Specialties.

Tirzah just takes my breath away!!!

We really wanted to go to BMKC this year as it is always a fun show. This year it was held at the Primm resorts! It was so much fun!!! We showed the dogs in the day and ate at the buffets and gambled all night!!!! Four of us were shoeing out dogs and all four of us had nice wins!!! Daneen and I were pretty lucky in the casino’s too!!! I played a cute penny slot game called Lucky Lemings. Getting the bonus was so much fun! The sound bite to get the bonus was Hip, Hip Hooray!!! I thought what a cute name for a puppy!!!

I took Sydney because she wanted to go on a big trip. Both of her puppies that I kept from her last litter are singled out. Dax is sitting on 3 4 point majors and Gracie has 1 major. 

Sydney has not been in the showring for 6 years! She also started a false pregnancy just as entries closed!!

Sydney took this show weekend VERY seriously!!! The entries were small…. but she showed great and won the breed both days. I took her in the group the first day and she was a snapping alligator in the group ring!!! I had bloody fingers by the end of groups!!!! I am so very proud of my little Sydney. She picked up 2 points this weekend for a total of 7 points.

I have been feeding a RAW diet to my dogs for over 7 years now and I just can't say enough good things about it!!!

Taking the plunge from kibble to RAW can be a little scary. There are more and more people out there feeding RAW and tons of info on the internet to help make the transition less stressful for you.

I like to keep it simple. I make sure over a period of about a week that I am feeding the following 5 things.

Meat, bone, organ meat, tripe and salmon oil and Vit. E.

Pretty simple!!!

After people get over the issue of feeding RAW with bones to their dogs price seems to be the next hurdle.

If you are a smart shopper you can feed your dogs a RAW diet most times even CHEAPER than a "premium" kibble.

I have started a Yahoo group that is not a chat type group but a way for people in the Southern Ca/Los Angeles area to pool together and let each other know when foods are on sale or when anyone is doing a meat run.
