"If your everyday life seems poor, don't blame it; blame yourself; admit to yourself that you are not enough of a poet to call forth its riches; because for the creator there is no poverty and no indifferent place."
— Rainer Maria Rilke

After not being able to get my original website person to update my site in four years I finally had to bite the bullet and do it. I was getting inquiries about litters on my website and I had to tell people those pups are 4 years old now!!! Embarrassing!!!!
I find that fear is the major factor in procrastination. I had built a website for a friend using Homestead and while the site looks ok it was really frustrating…. It was way too limiting. For my site I found a company called Andy's Web Tools. What a piece of cake!!!! Their customer service has been wonderful!!!! Click Here For Andy's Web Tools Site
So please take a look and let me know what you think. I am still adding info and many of the links refer back to this blog but at least the dogs on my site are still alive and everything is up to date!!!!
Just got bask from a great agility weekend!!!! Ella my Dal had a
fabulous weekend. She was moving! Today she was 8th in the 20″ Ex B
jumpers class out of over 90 dogs. She was 2 and a half seconds behind
the first place dog!!!!!
This is the longest stretch of shows that Ella has done and she held it together great!!! She had some amazing runs. She didn’t Q in every run but she had some brilliant runs!!!!
I was so pleased with my little boy Cory. I was late for the Bred By group and ran and grabbed Cory out of his crate, fluffed fluffed in the the ring as best I could and he showed his little heart out.
Cory was pulled in the group and that was very exciting!!!!!
For all you dog show people just a heads up about Dress Barn…. They have FABULOUS clothes!!!!
Each store has two sides. One side for smaller sizes and the other size for women's sizes!!! And both sides match! So if you need a smaller size top and a larger size bottom from a suit they have BOTH!!!! Colors and fashions are very nice and priced very reasonably. AND they offer layaway!!!!
I stopped in to a new Dress Barn the other day and noticed that they were doing Dress Barn Parties. Curiosity peaked I asked about them. So you set up a time and get 3 or more friends to join you and they block off a complete dressing room and put out drinks, cookies, nuts. They are very helpful and everyone gets 15% off their entire purchase on top of sale prices. They also gave a cute little favor bag to take home.
We had a nice turn out for our Dress Barn Party!!! It was lots of fun having us all go in and try stuff on and then do little fashion shows for each other.
This was a great little get together and got some nice clothes to boot!!!
Our dear friend Francine brought homemade Rocky Road fudge to the Papillon Agility trial for us!!!
On top of being out of this world yummy…. she decorated it in honor of Masher's trip to the UK for the World team event!!! And it is the shape of a butterfly!!! How cute is that????

"Forget the resolutions. Forget control and discipline…too much work. Instead try experimenting. Go in search of something to fall in love with…something about yourself, your career, your spouse."

We celebrated our friend Kate's milestone birthday at Sevilla in Long Beach after the AKC Invitational.
The restaurant is a cool little Spanish place that serves tapas and tapitas… which are appetizers. We called ahead and bought tickets for their 4:30 Flamenco Dinner and Show. We arrived and were told there was NO 4:30 show. I asked then why did the lady sell us tickets for the 4:30 show?????I was NOT happy!!!
They said we could wait for the 8:00 show but we all had dogs to get ready for the show the next day and God forbid we all stay out super late :)The manager was very sorry for the mistake and told us if we wanted to stay for a nice dinner he would comp us half the bill. Ok. That works. We made the best of it and stayed for dinner.
I had celebrated my birthday at Sevilla a few years ago and we did the dinner dancing show. You get to pick from a couple of choices for the dinner. So it was a no brainer. Easy. This time we had to pick from the entire menu!! That was no small feat!
We were REALLY hungry and our poor waiter had to describe EVERY item. We ended up ordering like 15 things!!! He did tell us each item was a very small portion.
And they were VERY small portions!!! Each item we ordered came on a small plate and we each got a bite or two of everything.
Half way thru dinner Daneen reaches in pocket and pulls out a dog treat…. AKA a weenie!!! She put it on one of the little plates and we all had a great time dressing it up to look like a bonafide Sevilla tapa!!!
Our waiter was just the best and really helped make our dinner experience a memorable one. He turned 6 shades of red when he came over and saw our creation!!
We ended up staying for over three hours and left quite stuffed! Having a girls night and laughing and letting loose is good for the soul!!!
