Houston we have a problem…….

Late for a private…. and SOMEBODY was NOT hoppy!!!!!

This was the first time Giddeon had to do ANY show stuff. She does not quite get the idea that standing still and looking pretty gets her a treat….. She thinks leaping and lunging is a good thing.

Here is my response to the SRC SURVEY/POLL that is going in the mail today!!!

I am happily waiting to get my BALLOT in the mail for my chance to VOTE on this issue!!!!!

Great news!!!!!! This was just posted……

This is to notify the Board, the "Special Meeting" ballot with one
question, "Do you want the sable merle added to the CCA Standard?" to be
answered either, yes or no, was sent by US mail yesterday and competed
with drop off this morning.

WE FINALLY GET TO VOTE!!!!!!!!

This is the official ballot that has gone out…. NOT to be confused with the Standard Review Comm. SURVEY/POLL that is loaded with biased questions and asks for information that I find is irrelevant and useless.

Please cast your vote on the official ballot and let your voice be heard!!!!

Sending in the SURVEY/POLL is not a bad idea either….. I will be sending in the survey but will be putting "irrelevant" next to the questions I believe are.I sent an email to Bob Futh and Tom Coen asking if the survey would be counted if questions 2-6 were marked "irrelevant"?

Bob's answer was a little confusing. He said "Every answer will be counted in full"

Tom Answered " You may skip the survey" (Questions 2-6) & "just answer the POLL" "the Tellers are instructed to count all votes from current CCA"

This is a good day for the members of the CCA!!!! Our voices will finally be heard!!!!

Dear District Directors and Board Members,
 
As chairman of the Standard Review Committee I want to give you a final update.  Our committee is currently completing the last remaining task of those proposed in my December letter.
 
Our final job is to survey the entire membership concerning this issue.  As a committee we feel strongly about an informed, educated membership.  It would be premature and unfair to take a vote of the  entire membership before those who don't have internet access are given the opporunity to review the educational materials.
 
In the interest of accurate and complete communication I am sending you directly and in advance, the educational materials and poll that will be mailed shortly by the Newsletter Editor to all CCA members.  Our committee requests that you encourage your constituents to review the materials and to please vote.
 
This committee has worked long and hard to achieve the goals of educating and surveying the membership as per AKC recommendation.  We have been told by the AKC that we have done an excellent and very thorough job.  We realize there is no way to please everyone, especially those on BOTH sides of this issue who are extremely passionate and rigid in their positions.  Being in the middle has been very frustrating for us and we have always tried to take the high road and stay with rational, intelligent discussion.  Thank you for your confidence in us to serve as your Standard Review Committee.

Would the "high road" mean that surveys and questionnaire's are worded in a VERY biased and filled with leading questions????

This was the Antelope Valley KC. Cory was WD and BoW under Mrs. Evie Sullivan.

Ella got her Open Standard title this weekend!!!! And her first AXJ leg with a first place!!!!!! Of course we didn’t get video of that but we did get a nice run today!!! Daneen has been running Ella and I think Ella is figuring out that it is OK to run and play the game with Daneen.

Their Standard run was pretty nice and they had one little oopsie out of the weaves. I would have rear crossed the jump after the weaves but Daneen is working on Ella’s front crosses.

Now to get out of EX A and start collecting MACH points!!!!!
