Great photos!!! I love the long horizontal one towards the end. Looks like a pencil drawing I did a long time ago.
I might have to blog it.
I miss the snow in the desert. Really pretty!

Your collies are GORGEOUS. I am smitten with dalmatians, but I think one day I would enjoy owning a smooth coated collie. 🙂

Wonderful and enjoyable pictures!! Collies love snow so much and I’m glad that your gang got a chance to enjoy some! In one picture of the smooths, they look like a pack of wolves on the run!! And I see you have a couple of snow augers too!! I have one of those!!

    great pictures Julie!
it is fun to see dogs that never get to see snow…..my guys are pretty much over it now 🙂

Fantastic! I love the close shot of Cole looking down, I can completely visualize him as a sweet pup with those darling puppy eyes. Do you have any Cole baby pics somewhere for me to swoon over? 🙂
Cory also looks really good – but I’m watching him! Hahaha. (Remember how he’d tackle us from behind on the rear?) Always watching! *obscure Monsters, Inc. – Pixar film – reference*

I had just started my blog so I don’t have a million photos like I do now:)
Cory is even MORE fun when he slams you in the back with wet snow feet :0

Yup… After one day i am over it too.

Thanks.. the smooths remind me of young lions when they are puppies and wolves when they are adults. I love watching all my dogs just out there running to run!

  9. Reply ETSjules says:

I love my Dals and the Collies are sooooooo EASY!!!!

Really enjoyed the pics…looks like they were having a blast. They seem to make a good pack.

  11. Reply ETSjules says:

Thanks Ray. They were having sooooo much fun! They are all very easy going and fun dogs together.
You don’t like the papillon puppy photos?? EVEN Diana (who is a bit of a Collie snob) like the Papillon puppy photos:)

they look like they are having a blast! nothing prettier than a bunch of collies running together. I agree with Diane in that one picture they look just like a pack of wolves that spotted their prey. very cool. June Bug looks like such a lady and the smooths are growing up. so pretty!

  13. Reply Diana Hiiesalu Bain says:

    Yes Ray. You snob.

I’m not very fond of little dogs…it’s kind of a “thing” with me. However, before I got Hudson, I was on your website showing my mother Cole (Hudson’s grandpa) and she thought the Paps were the cutest things she’s ever seen. So…different strokes, for different folks, I guess. I’m glad you and Daneen enjoy them though.
I know snow’s not a huge deal in your area, but do the smoothies do okay in snow and cold weather? I think they probably have more hair than I think they do, and it’s probably a double-coat like the roughies, but comparatively I worry that they’re cold. That’s probably not true though, huh?

P.S. I wouldn’t say I’m a collie “snob,” (I have absolutely NOTHING to be snobby about) but I would say that I’m “collie-centric.” Collies are my first dogs that weren’t mixed-breed pound puppies, so it might be a “you never forget your first” kind of scenario. Though, in general, I would consider myself an all-around dog lover (as long as they’re not too small!).

It was REALLY cool watching them all run just for the sheer joy of it.
